BlueBird Beat and Your Neighbors Present: Boo & Brew on Colfax Avenue

Parents and children, adorned in your best costume, join your neighbors and friends this Saturday afternoon for fantastic trick-o-treating. Visit All of the decorated establishments along Colfax Avenue between Monroe and St. Paul, a six block stretch, open for your trick-o-treating pleasure. Start your parade at the Bluebird beat, 3213 E. Colfax, and be one of the first 100 visitors to receive a custom Boo and Brew on Colfax Avenue candy collection sack for all your special treats. A professional photographer will be on site to have your ghoulish photo taken and then send you on your way to participate in all the fun, from a made to order Candy Bar at the Fabric Lab to the Haunted House at Hooked on Colfax.

Friday October 31st

Big kids and adults, join your costumed counterparts to celebrate Halloween this year in the Bluebird District along Colfax! The area will rise from the dead to provide the second annual Boo and Brew event themed,  “Heroes and Villains”. Throughout the evening many options for music and entertainment will be available. A Zombie Wander will begin the evening at Senger’s on the Fax, a brand new and beautifully renovated restaurant and bar. The “Wander” will then move east finding plenty of live music and specials from the Rock Bar, Fabric Lab, Babooshka, Hooked on Colfax, Mezcal, and the Goosetown Tavern. At around 11PM the event will culminate at the Atomic Cowboy for a costume contest with more great music and prizes.
